The guitar that rocked
the world
“I play it almost every day and it sounds great through any sort of tube amp. Not only does the lighter body/slimmer neck cost less, it also weighs a lot less and is perfect for longer shows and jam sessions . . . I always get positive comments about his guitar’s looks, sound, and play- ability.” — Jacob Thiede from PDX and SLC musiciansfriend.com Customer Review

revisited
Les Paul Special
Double-Cutaway
The solid mahogany neck with “slim-
tapered” profile and ebony fretboard
offers a blend of speed and comfort.
An ebony fingerboard enhances the
Gibson guitar’s note attack and
articulation. Dual P- 90 pickups
produce a snappy, slightly gritty
response with a chunky mid-
range; firm lows; and sweet,
musical highs. Choose gloss
yellow (shown) or heritage
cherry finish. Includes Gibson
hardshell case.

2011 SG Standard The warm tone of all-mahogany neck and body is punctuated by a Baked Maple fingerboard for
improved articulation and a smooth, fast feel. The maple is
aged through a “baking” process called torrefaction. The wood is kept at 200-
300° F and then moisture is restored under pressure. This makes the wood
very hard, sonically “live,” and extremely stable. The snappy sound of ebony
with the look of medium-brown pau ferro. Choose vintage sunburst (shown),
aged cherry, natural burst or cream finish. Includes Gibson hardshell case.

Les Paul Studio Silverburst Hot coil-split pups, chambered body, and locking tuners. Offering distinct looks and modern features, it marries a lightweight chambered mahogany back to a carved maple top.
